BioI am a die hard Oregonian, although I've lived in Spain and New York State. I have a degree in History and a Master's in Folklore, mainly because hey, History and Folklore are COOL, but also because I gave up on Physics when I found out you had to be good at Math. I am currently unemployed and reevaluating what it is I really want to do when I grow up.
I am a sci-fi geek from way back, although my current favorite authors seem to be tending towards fantasy. I have been drawn back into T.V. fandom after a 4 year hiatus when I was writing my master's thesis (which I have no problem talking about for HOURS to anyone who is foolhardy enough to ask). So far, I tend to be more of a lurker, but certain friends have taken it upon themselves to change that.
